DARC.EEE is a project designed for the Illuminate Raleigh Project. It is designed as a fictional portal taking the user from a ecologically disaster prone present to an ecologically harmonious future or alternative present. While our industrial and technological prowess as a human race is currently driving us further from ecological equilibrium, DARC.EEE is an advanced piece of technology that will bring us closer to our natural environment.
Room To Yield - On Location at the Black on Black V.3 Exhibition in Raleigh, NC
Room to Yield is an agitated meditation room. It is a soundproof enclosure that employs an automated light design sequence, dynamic soundscape and series of inquiries into the users human experience. The user locks their cell phone in a box on the room’s exterior, enters and triggers the immersive experience.
The construction of the room required standard construction methods, drywall application, insulation installation, sound and light wiring and installation as well as several advanced soundproofing methodologies.
